Acceptance Of Terms

By accessing this website or engaging StarTech Solutions ("we," "us," "our") for fire detection, CCTV, biometric access, networking, or related work, you ("client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

These terms apply alongside any signed quotation, BOQ, or AMC contract between you and StarTech Solutions. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement takes precedence.

Description Of Services

StarTech Solutions designs, installs, and maintains fire detection & public address systems, CCTV systems, biometric & video door phone (VDP) access control, and networking/POE infrastructure across residential, commercial, industrial, and government sites. Exact scope, equipment, and pricing for any engagement are set out in a written quotation or BOQ agreed to before work begins.

We reserve the right to update our publicly listed service offerings at any time; active projects remain governed by their signed quotation or contract.

Site Survey & Quotations

Quotations are based on the site survey and information available at the time. If site conditions differ materially once work begins hidden wiring, structural obstructions, additional coverage areas we will notify you and issue a revised quotation before proceeding with the affected work.

Installation & Client Access

You agree to:

• Provide safe, timely site access for surveys, installation, and servicing.
• Arrange power, network, and structural access needed for the work.
• Inform us of any known hazards or restricted areas on-site.
• Review and sign off on system design and BOQ before installation begins.

Delays in providing access or approvals may extend project timelines accordingly.

AMC & Support Contracts

Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) cover scheduled maintenance and support as specified in your contract. Response times, visit frequency, and coverage (parts, labor, or both) vary by AMC tier and are set out in the signed contract. Emergency call-outs outside your AMC scope may be billed separately.

Payment Terms

Payment schedules are set out in your quotation or contract. Installation projects typically require an advance payment before procurement, with the balance due at agreed milestones or on completion. AMC fees are billed per the agreed cycle (typically annually). Late payments may result in paused work or suspended support.

Equipment & Warranties

Equipment we supply carries the respective manufacturer's warranty. We warrant our installation workmanship for the period stated in your quotation. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, unauthorized modification, power surges, or third-party interference with the system after handover.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including business interruption, and installed systems (including fire and CCTV systems) do not eliminate risk they are aids that must be used alongside your own safety procedures and monitoring.

Termination

Either party may terminate an active installation or AMC contract with written notice, as specified in that contract. You remain responsible for payment for work and equipment already delivered up to the termination date.

Regulatory Compliance

We design and install systems to align with applicable fire safety and electrical codes at the time of installation. You are responsible for any local approvals, certifications, or ongoing statutory compliance obligations specific to your building or industry unless expressly included in your contract.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having competent authority over our registered place of business.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
